A2 SYSTEM developed a key platform for offering Location Based Services: LBS A2 SERVER for cellular location. This tool includes a Geographical Information System (GIS) that makes it possible to locate the position of a cellular handset from the knowledge of the geographical locations of the carrier’s base stations. This platform can be used to build and offer user services such as emergency location and geo-referenced information. The geographical location server enables cellular carriers to provide user location information to Mobile Internet service providers or portals.

LBS A2 SERVER is designed to coordinate user services as they pass through given geographical areas, including call center services, mobile resources, and mobile marketing. It solves basic LBS issues such as routing-dispatching, location of nearby services, multimedia and multi-channel mapping, web-TV, voice-data integration, etc.

A2 SYSTEM’s location services also include a software component for integration with existing applications to enable you to perform mobile handset location. This component can also be integrated with all other solutions provided by A2 SYSTEM for the areas of transportation, marketing, sales force, and any other project that requires control over the location of people, such as installers and technicians, or goods, such as ATM’s, video arcade machines, vehicles, etc.; whether because they are constantly moving around, or as a complement to an alarm system in case of theft or accident.
